This well known style of cotton air filter allows for a much greater breathable area than traditional paper filter that will over time will become restricted due to the accumulation of dust and dirt that adheres to the outer surface of the paper instead of being held deep within the multiple layers used in a cotton style performance filter 

These filter's that can be cleaned and re used to provide many years of use, thus paying for itself whilst offering an increase in performance.
