Black Subaru Impreza WRX STI Duracon Style Gear Knob 5 / 6 Speed R-Down Direct Fit

A high-quality aftermarket gear knob designed as a direct-fit replacement for compatible Subaru Impreza WRX and STI manual models.

Manufactured from a hard-wearing black Duracon-style material with a smooth satin finish, it gives the interior a clean, purposeful factory-performance appearance while providing a very comfortable and high-quality feel in use.

The gear knob is supplied with a selection of thread adapters to accommodate different applications. However, when physically test-fitted to our test car 2008 JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STI, no adapter was required — the knob screwed directly onto the original gear lever.

Supplied with Two Shift Patterns

Each knob is supplied with a choice of two interchangeable shift-pattern inserts, allowing the buyer to select the pattern appropriate to their vehicle:

• 6-speed STI pattern with reverse positioned down and to the right
• Earlier WRX & STI / 5-speed pattern for compatible earlier Subaru manual applications

This gives the buyer the choice of the shift pattern appropriate to their particular car rather than being restricted to a single layout.

Fitment

Physically test-fitted to our own 2008 JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STI and confirmed to screw directly onto the standard gear lever without using an adapter.

Subaru used different gear-lever threads and shift-pattern arrangements across models, years and markets. A range of adapters is supplied for this reason. Please compare your existing shift pattern and gear-lever arrangement before ordering.
