This is the upgraded solid-core FKM profile that replaces the original BMW moulded ridge seal. The OEM version hardens and leaks over time — this uprated design provides a more durable, pressure-tight seal with superior resistance to heat and oil breakdown. Correct improved version used successfully across BMW F and G-Series models.

Installation Guide

Install to a cold engine only. Locate the charge pipe duct and remove fastenings at both ends. Clean mating surfaces thoroughly. Apply a light smear of grease to the new seal and fit cleanly with no twists or pinches. Refit the charge pipe ducting and torque fittings to BMW spec. Run the engine and check for air leaks at all connections.
