Convert the factory Porsche wheel-bolt arrangement to a motorsport-style stud-and-nut setup with the PSR9Line wheel stud conversion range.
Designed for relevant later Porsche applications using M14x1.5 wheel bolts and original-style R14 ball-seat wheels, this system makes wheel removal and refitting easier, works neatly with spacer setups, reduces repeated wear on hub threads, and gives a purposeful motorsport-inspired finish.
Why convert from wheel bolts to studs?
- Easier wheel fitting: the wheel locates onto fixed studs rather than being held in position while the first wheel bolt is started.
- Especially useful with spacers: studs help align the wheel and spacer together during refitting.
- Ideal for frequent wheel changes: useful for track-day cars, seasonal wheel changes and owners who regularly remove wheels.
- Helps protect hub threads: repeated wheel removal takes place at the stud-and-nut interface rather than repeatedly threading wheel bolts into the hub.
- Visible thread engagement: the open-ended nuts make stud engagement easy to inspect.
- Motorsport-inspired appearance: black studs combined with bright silver open-ended R14 nuts give a clean competition-style look.

Stud Length & Spacer Guidance
Our real-world test fitting has confirmed the correct way to use the two stud lengths in this range.
75mm studs are intended for applications running without wheel spacers. They provide the correct practical length for a standard no-spacer setup without leaving unnecessary excess stud projection.
90mm studs should be used where wheel spacers are fitted. These are the longest studs available in this conversion range and are suitable for spacer setups up to a maximum of 15mm.
Spacer thickness over 15mm is not advised with this conversion kit. We do not recommend using the 90mm studs with 20mm spacers or any spacer arrangement exceeding 15mm.
As Porsche wheel, hub and spacer combinations can vary, installation should always include a physical check of correct thread engagement into the hub, sufficient nut engagement on the stud, wheel and spacer seating, rear-side clearance, and free wheel rotation with no interference.
Quick Selection Guide
- 75mm Studs — No Spacers
- 90mm Studs — Spacers up to 15mm
- Over 15mm Spacers — Not Recommended
Fitment note
This listing is for screw-in conversion studs intended for relevant later Porsche cars originally fitted with wheel bolts. It is not the same product as the press-in replacement studs used on earlier factory stud-equipped Porsche models.
Fitment is made by screwing the stud into the hub using an M5 hex head Allen key.
Original Porsche-style wheels commonly use an R14 ball seat, but aftermarket wheels may use a different seat profile. Always confirm the wheel's required seat type before ordering.
Installation
Wheel fasteners are safety-critical components. Installation should be carried out using the correct workshop procedure, appropriate thread-locking method where specified, and the vehicle/wheel manufacturer's torque requirements. Confirm correct thread engagement and that the wheel rotates freely with no rear interference before road use.
