The Puch Magnum X needs little introduction to anyone who grew up in the 1970s and 80s. Manufactured by Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG of Graz, Austria — a company with deep roots in the Daimler-Benz family of companies — the Puch name represented Austrian engineering excellence for over a century. Steyr-Daimler-Puch supplied components and vehicles to Mercedes-Benz and was one of Europe's most respected industrial manufacturers, producing everything from military vehicles to bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles. The Magnum X was among their most iconic two-wheeled creations, beloved across Europe for its rugged good looks, bulletproof reliability and the distinctive sound of its 50cc automatic engine.
This particular example has been fully and sympathetically restored to an exceptional standard. The engine has been completely overhauled and the bike has not been used since the restoration was completed. With many new parts fitted throughout, this is as good as a Magnum X gets.
